Our client, a key player in the Defence & Nuclear sectors, is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join their team on a contract basis. This role is vital in ensuring that electrical installations and test activities meet ITP requirements, nuclear safety culture expectations, and applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections in line with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and agreed hold/witness points. Verify installation quality for cable containment/tray, pulling/termination, glanding, bonding/earthing, panel/MCC installation, LV distribution, lighting/small power, and instrumentation interface checks as required. Review and sign-off quality records including check sheets, test packs, redlines/as-builts, cable schedules, termination records, and torque records. Support the non-conformance process by raising and tracking NCRs, punch lists, and quality observations; verify close-out and re-inspect as needed. Interface with construction supervision, commissioning, and client QA/quality teams; support audits and assurance as required. Job Requirements: Proven experience as an electrical inspector or QA/QC electrical on regulated industrial projects (nuclear, power, Oil & Gas, pharmaceutical, etc.). Working knowledge of ITP-driven delivery and quality record compilation. Ability to read and interpret drawings, cable schedules, single lines, and schematics.
