The basics: Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Industry: Manufacturing Location: Near Heanor Pay: Dual Skilled = £55,943 (must have electrical certificate) Single Skilled = £52,211 Plus overtime = earnings of £60,000 and upwards Shift: 4on 4off (2 days on, 2 days off, 2 nights on, 2off) 6-6 Overtime: x1.5 Holidays: 22 shifts Benefits: pension up to 5% paid by employer Overview: We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role. For those that do not have electrical certs, the company can provide courses to obtain these. Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role: To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time. Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns PPM's The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time served, apprentice trained or above Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar. An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite) Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficial Commutable from: Heanor, Alfreton, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
