Marine Electrician (Offshore) Are you a Marine Electrician looking for your next opportunity? Do you have offshore experience, a time-served apprenticeship, and strong AC/DC and LV electrical knowledge? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Our client, a well-established offshore services company, is seeking a Marine Electrician to join their team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background, experience working within marine or industrial environments, and the ability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a wide range of AC/DC and LV electrical systems. Marine Electrician (Offshore) Permanent Position Salary: £43,000-£49,000 p/a + company van  Monday to Friday Aberdeen Marine Electrician (Offshore) Job Description • Carry out installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of AC/DC and LV marine electrical systems and equipment • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on offshore and marine assets • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure equipment reliability and compliance • Install, terminate, and test electrical cabling, switchboards, control panels, motors, generators, and associated equipment • Conduct inspection, testing, and commissioning of AC/DC and LV electrical systems • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation • Support commissioning, upgrades, and modification projects on electrical systems • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with offshore, marine, and electrical industry standards • Liaise with clients, vessel crews, and internal departments to deliver projects effectively • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and certification documentation • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices Marine Electrician (Offshore) Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications • Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification • Minimum 5 years' experience within the electrical or marine industry • Experience working with AC/DC and LV electrical systems within marine, offshore, industrial, or heavy engineering environments • Strong fault-finding, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting skills • Experience with motors, generators, switchboards, control panels, and distribution systems • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings • Experience with electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities • Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements within offshore environments • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you, or anyone you know are interested in the role, click apply or send your CV to (url removed)
