Supply Chain Finance Analyst

The role of Supply Chain Finance Analyst in the FMCG industry involves analysing financial data to support supply chain operations and decision-making. Client Details This opportunity is with a well-established organisation in the FMCG industry. Operating as part of a medium-sized company, the business focuses on delivering excellence in supply chain operations and financial performance. Description · Month end preparation - work with key stakeholders to ensure accurate cost detail / cost tracking and accruals are captured. · Maintain relevant accrual and cost tracking documents · Support on all forecast / budget processes · Support Finance Lead to deliver accurate financial reporting, including detailed variance analysis · Work closely with the Logistics team to review costs · Proactively look for improvement opportunities in logistics accounting and control processes · Support the Supply Chain Accountants and Finance Lead to embed standardisation and consistent ways of working across the company · Support with all SOX and standard internal controls as required · Support on external and internal audit processes as required relating to Supply Chain Finance Profile A successful Supply Chain Finance Analyst should have: A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software. Experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
