They are looking to recruit a Stock Controller / Logistics Coordinator to join their team based at one of their client's sites in Barnoldswick on a full-time permanent basis who specialise within the Aerospace industry. Hours: Mon-Fri (8:00am-4:30pm) - 37.5 hours per week Salary: £27,000 Please note to be successful for this role you must be able to pass 5 years full security vetting clearances. This is also a site-based role, and you would also need to be able to drive/access to your own transport due to the location. What does the Stock Control/ Logistics Coordinator role? Manage the logistics of supplied products to ensure a continuous supply for customer production requirements and ensure all administrative duties within the supply chain process run optimally. What duties will be included in the Stock Control /Logistics Coordinator role? Proactive Open Order Management: * Receiving and booking in of deliveries * Vending machine usage * Refills * Stock checks * Add/remove items * min-max inventory level adjustments * Basic maintenance of vending machines Regrind & scrap carbide management: * Collection, packing and shipping of used tools for regrind and scrap carbide for recycling collection * Delivery non-conformance reporting: * Manage and report shipments of incorrect products, over/under shipments, duplicates, and processing returns Document management: * Storage and scanning of packing slips, supplier documents, delivery notes * Answer any queries the accounts payable team have related to deliveries * Follow up overdue orders with suppliers and challenge when needed * Communication with onsite team and customer regarding late shipments and estimated due dates What will you bring to the Stock Control /Logistics Coordinator role? o Previous Stock Control/Logistics Coordinator experience o Good English and Maths skills o Office 365, Excel skills o Understanding of health and safety. o Be a self-motivated professional. · System experience (ideal not essential as training will be provided) · WebUI, document scanning, non-conformance module, corporate reports, AP module · Vend systems: - SupplyPro, Autocrib, matrix etc · Previous experience with customer and supplier interaction: · Basic understanding of cutting tools, manufacturers systems of coding and numbering · Understanding of customer products and processes · Being able to follow Site H&S inductions and procedures · Hosting suppliers, interacting with customer operators and Productions Managers Why should you apply for the Logistics Coordinator role? * Company Pension Scheme * Company Health Insurance Scheme * Life Insurance * Death in service 4x salary * 25 Days paid holiday plus bank holidays. * Training learning and development opportunities * Competitive Salary * Free on-site parking available * On-site facilities available Where is the Stock Control/Logistics Coordinator role based?
