Multi-Trade Operative Location: Preston, Lancashire Rate: £25 - 30 Per Hour Working Pattern: On Site - Full time Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for a Multi-Trade Operative to support a busy public sector estate. This is a hands-on role covering both planned and reactive maintenance, with a focus on safe working, quality repairs, and minimising disruption to building users. You will be carrying out a range of building maintenance tasks across multiple trades and supporting the wider maintenance team to keep facilities safe, compliant and operational. Responsibilities include Reactive and planned maintenance across carpentry, basic plumbing, patch plastering, painting and decorating, roofing repairs (felt, tile, slate) and floor laying Lock repairs and general building fabric repairs Setting up and clearing venues for planned events Keeping work areas safe, tidy, and clear, and reporting hazards promptly About you Proven experience completing building trade tasks to a high standard Strong health and safety awareness and a practical, can-do approach Physically able to complete manual tasks including working at height and in confined spaces Full UK driving licence Qualifications such as NVQ Level 3+ in a relevant trade, IPAF/MEWP, working at height, manual handling, PASMA/tower scaffold, hot works How to Apply Send your CV or get in touch with Joe O'Halloran at Spencer Clarke Group on (phone number removed) or
