Maths Teacher Bourne End, Buckinghamshire September Start | MPS/UPS Supply Desk is working in partnership with a supportive and well-regarded secondary school in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, to recruit a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher for a September start. This role is ideal for a Maths specialist who is enthusiastic about numeracy, confident delivering engaging and structured lessons, and committed to helping pupils develop strong mathematical understanding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. The Role As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring pupils and supporting progress in all areas of mathematics. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum Teaching key topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and number Preparing students for assessments and GCSE Maths Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and/or KS4) (ECTs welcome with relevant Maths teaching placements) Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics Confident classroom and behaviour management skills An engaging, enthusiastic, and supportive teaching style Availability to start in September Ability to commute to Bourne End, Buckinghamshire What We Offer Pay in line with MPS/UPS, dependent on experience Long-term teaching opportunities Ongoing support from experienced, local education consultants Access to CPD and training, including safeguarding and behaviour management 24/7 CPD Learning Hub to support professional development Opportunity to work within supportive and well-resourced schools How to Apply If you are a Maths Teacher seeking a September role in Bourne End, we would be delighted to hear from you.
