This role is ideal for someone confident in operating CNC lathes who wants long‑term stability and the opportunity to develop into more advanced responsibilities over time. About the Role As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for: • Operating CNC lathes to produce high‑quality precision components • Reading and understanding engineering drawings • Performing basic tool offsets and adjustments (training provided if needed) • Carrying out in‑process inspection using micrometers, verniers, gauges • Maintaining consistent quality and working to tight tolerances • Working as part of a small, supportive engineering team Experience Required • Proven experience operating CNC lathes (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Haas or similar) • Ability to work to tight tolerances • Confident using measuring equipment • Good understanding of machining principles • Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic Development Opportunities While the role will begin with operation only, there is a clear pathway to: • CNC setting Training and support will be provided as you progress.
