We are partnering with a values-driven organisation in Glasgow to recruit an experienced HR Adviser to join their wider HR team. This is a varied and rewarding generalist role offering the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative HR function. The role has a strong focus on employee relations, while also supporting broader people initiatives, learning activity, and continuous improvement across the organisation. You will act as a trusted HR partner to managers, providing clear and practical guidance on a wide range of people matters, while also contributing to the development of tools, resources, and approaches that enhance people management capability. Key Responsibilities * Manage a range of employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinaries, and grievances * Provide proactive HR advice and support to managers across a range of generalist issues * Work both independently and collaboratively within the HR team to deliver effective people solutions * Support the development of learning resources, guidance materials, and manager toolkits * Contribute to improvements in HR processes, systems, and ways of working * Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and wider people initiatives * Build effective relationships across the organisation to support a positive workplace culture Essential Criteria * Full driving Liscence and access to a car * Previous experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to employee relations * Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, as well as contribute within a team environment * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Experience using HR systems * Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
