Head of Logistics & Warehouse Operations 📍 Loughborough with UK-wide travel 💰 £60,000 – £70,000 + benefits A growing UK retail and field operations business is looking for a commercially minded Head of Logistics & Warehouse Operations to lead and improve a multi-site logistics network and major warehouse facility. This is a hands-on leadership role with a genuine mandate to drive change, improve operational performance and build scalable processes across a fast-paced environment. The Role You will take ownership of a large aftermarket and logistics operation, including a major warehouse facility and a network of regional depots across the UK. Key responsibilities include: • Leading day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations • Managing multi-site depot and hub operations • Overseeing pick-pack, kitting, pre-build and project configuration activity • Managing third-party transport and carrier relationships • Driving operational improvements and performance standards • Leading and developing operational teams across the network • Improving efficiency, throughput and service delivery Background & Experience We are particularly interested in candidates from environments such as: • Retail fit-out or shopfitting logistics • Events or exhibition logistics • 3PL operations • Field service or parts logistics • Construction materials or fit-out distribution You will ideally have experience: • Managing multi-site warehouse or depot operations • Leading kitting, project-based or configuration-focused operations • Driving change and improving underperforming operations • Managing transport providers and logistics partners • Operating at Regional Operations, National Operations or Head of Warehousing level Experience with TUPE, restructures or operational transformation projects would be advantageous. The Person We are looking for a visible, hands-on operational leader who enjoys being on-site and close to the operation.
