Job Description: Storeman * Carrying out general stores and yard duties * Managing materials and stock control * Booking materials in and out, including overseeing deliveries and collections * Managing the issue and return of plant and equipment, including maintaining sign in/sign out records * Operating a forklift truck * Managing company vehicles, including servicing, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep * Maintaining vehicle-related records, including driver eyesight check records * Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering materials, tools, and equipment to site locations What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or yard-based role * Forklift licence preferred, but not essential * Full UK driving licence essential * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Ability to manage paperwork, records, and stock systems accurately * Proactive attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role * Experience within construction, electrical contracting, or a similar environment would be advantageous * Basic computer skills beneficial Salary & Benefits * £37,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) * 24 days holiday plus bank holidays * Profit share scheme * Private healthcare (available once CSCS/ECS card has been obtained) Experience: * Stores, Warehouse and Forklift: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Licence (required) Work Location: In person
