Senior Quantity Surveyor

An established construction and infrastructure consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS to work across large-scale infrastructure and capital delivery projects within sectors including utilities, energy, transport and civil engineering. The company continues to secure major long-term programmes nationally and offers strong career development, flexible working and exposure to high-profile projects. Key responsibilities: Managing commercial and cost activities across live infrastructure projects Preparing and managing budgets, cost reporting and financial forecasting Supporting contract administration and change management processes Assisting with procurement activities and contractor management Identifying and managing commercial risks across project delivery Working closely with clients, contractors and wider project teams Contributing to the successful delivery of complex capital programmes Requirements: Previous Quantity Surveying experience within infrastructure or heavy civil engineering Good understanding of NEC forms of contract Experience working on utilities, transport, energy or major project environments Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Degree-qualified within Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Chartership or working towards professional accreditation desirable What’s on offer: £65,000 – £75,000 depending on experience Hybrid and flexible working Long-term progression opportunities within a growing consultancy Exposure to major infrastructure and capital delivery programmes Competitive benefits package and bonus structure For a confidential discussion, contact Max Condie on (phone number removed) or apply directly
