Competitive basic salary starting from £35,000 Unlimited overtime available paid at time and a half Realistic OTE of £60,000-£70,000 Additional bonus opportunities Ongoing manufacturer and technical training Clear progression and development opportunities Modern and fully equipped workshop environment Group life assurance Income protection scheme Health cash plan benefits Key Responsibilities As a Workshop Forklift Engineer, your duties will include: Servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Conducting safety inspections and compliance checks Repairing electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts Completing breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise downtime Working on a variety of warehouse and industrial handling equipment Skills & Experience Required Applications are welcomed from engineers with backgrounds in: Forklift Plant HGV Powered Access Agricultural Essential Skills: Strong mechanical and fault-finding abilities Experience with hydraulics, electrics, and diesel systems Full UK driving licence NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or Vehicle Repair beneficial but not a deal breaker if you don't have this Ideal Candidate The ideal Workshop Forklift Engineer will be: Experienced working in fast-paced workshop environments Confident diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs Eager to learn and progress technically Reliable with a strong work ethic Comfortable working on a range of forklift and material handling equipment Job Details Role: Workshop Forklift Engineer Location: Banbury OTE: £60,000-£70,000 Overtime: Unlimited at 1.5x Rate Job Reference: (phone number removed) / INDPLANT Platinum Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
