QC Analyst

QC Analyst – Hereford Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm | Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour Contract: Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent We are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a busy and growing quality control team based in Hereford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory or quality control experience looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine analytical testing and organoleptic assessment of raw materials Issue certificates of analysis for products Communicate test results with Production, Development, and Purchasing teams Support Production with technical and quality-related queries Maintain accurate laboratory and computer records Maintain, check, and calibrate laboratory equipment Ensure all laboratory work is completed in line with health & safety and good laboratory practices Support food safety, quality, integrity, and legal compliance standards Review batch production and laboratory control records Assist with QC release of packed products Approve or reject raw materials, intermediates, and finished products where required Support validation protocols, quality reviews, and quality assurance proceduresSkills & Experience Previous experience within a laboratory, QC, or manufacturing environment preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and adaptable approach to work Understanding of quality standards and procedures is advantageousWhat’s on Offer Consistent Monday to Friday working hours Early finish every Friday Temporary ongoing opportunity with permanent prospects Supportive working environment Opportunity to gain experience within a regulated quality environmentIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
