Customer Service & Admin Assistant


We’re working with a Newark based company to recruit a Customer Service & Admin Assistant to join their friendly and fast-paced team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy office environment, and wants to be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team. This role is very much about the person – attitude, energy, and communication skills are the priority. The rest can be taught. The Role You’ll be a key part of the office team, supporting customers and internal departments to ensure everything runs smoothly day to day. Typical responsibilities include: * Handling inbound and outbound calls and emails * Processing customer orders accurately * Managing delivery queries and updates * Liaising with suppliers and internal teams * Inputting and processing invoices and purchase orders * Supporting general administration tasks * Helping to deliver excellent customer service at all times About You We are looking for someone who is: * Positive, friendly, and easy to get along with * A confident communicator (phone and email) * Calm and organised when working in a busy environment * A real team player who likes being part of a close-knit team * Willing to learn and take on new tasks * Reliable, proactive, and happy to get stuck in Previous experience in customer service or admin is helpful, but personality and attitude are what really matter here.
