CNC Machine Setter

CNC Machine Setter £31,413 per year Monday to Thursday Daventry We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Setter for a busy client based in Daventry. Hours of work: 16:00pm - 02:15am Duties will include: * Setting and programming CNC Milling machines * Operate CNC milling and ensuring accurate cutting, drilling, and shaping of metal or plastic parts. * Monitor Machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency * Running the machine in line with he speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance * Multi manning when necessary to support the performance & utilisation of our resources when machinery and suitable product types enable you to do so. * Ensure good and professional communication is maintained with your opposite machinist or supervisor during shift handover. * Maintain a clean and tidy workplace by ensuring a continuation of 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Systemise, Sustain). * Work as part of a strong team, willing to fulfil other tasks and additional duties when requested. What we are looking for * Previous experience and CNC Machine Setter * Background working in an environment where attention to detail is important * Automotive or other batch control industry experience * Prior experience using measuring equipment * FANUC and Heidenhain controls * Engineering background (preferred)
