Deputy Operations Manager/Operations Supervisor – Allington, Maidstone – Up to £73k DOE plus excellent benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hrs, flexible rota) An excellent opportunity for a Deputy Operations Manager / Operations Supervisor to join a leading Energy from Waste (EfW) / Power Generation facility. Deputy Operations Manager Key Responsibilities: * Deputise for Operations Manager / Plant Manager * Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties up to 33kV (HV / LV / Mechanical) * Oversee day-to-day plant operations, safety and compliance * Manage outages, incidents, audits, and continuous improvement * Lead operations teams and manage contractors * Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental permits, and permit-to-work systems The Successful Candidate: * SAP / HV Authorised Person / Senior Authorised Person experience – essential * HNC / HND / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Power) * Experience in Energy from Waste, Power Station, CHP, Biomass, Waste Management or Heavy Process Plant * Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, COMAH, Environmental Regulations * Experience with CMMS / SAP systems / Maintenance systems * Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills What’s on Offer: * Bonus * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Pension, life insurance, and benefits platform * Ongoing training and career progression If you are an experienced Deputy Operations Manager/Operations Supervisor, apply now to take the next step in your operations career within power generation / EfW operations management
