Field Service Engineer

Talentmark are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer, on behalf of life science technology company on a permanent basis.   Location: The successful candidate will be located in San Francisco as a preference, but San Diego based candidates can also be considered.   Your responsibilities will include: Perform installations, preventive, and corrective maintenance services on the client’s technology. Schedule preventative maintenance, report all repairs, product failures, and other field service paperwork through HubSpot. Provide excellent customer support through customer training and technical support for installed instruments. Identify field service opportunities for future business and communicate this to the sales teams.About you: To be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience: Experience programming and/or operating automated laboratory scientific equipment. In particular, scripting assays for Liquid Handlers (Hamilton, Tecan etc.) Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight and international travel.
