Graduate Tax Assistant

You’ll be supported by experienced tax professionals and exposed to a wide range of clients and work from day one. What you’ll be doing Supporting senior members of the tax team with: Personal and corporation tax returns P11D returns and benefits reporting Assisting with tax compliance for a varied client base, including: Sole traders Partnerships Limited companies Responding to client queries and liaising with HMRC under guidance Getting involved in tax planning and advisory work as you develop Helping ensure deadlines are met and work is completed accurately What we’re looking for A recent graduate (or equivalent) in: Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or similar A genuine interest in tax and professional services Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and organisational skills Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) Previous experience is not essential - attitude and potential matter more What’s on offer A supportive, team-focused environment Full training and on-the-job development Clear progression opportunities as you grow Exposure to a broad range of clients and tax work Competitive graduate-level salary and benefits This role would suit a graduate who wants more than just theory - someone keen to develop real-world skills within a firm that invests in its people.
