We’re recruiting for Teaching Assistants to earn up to £105 per day. The role involves creating a safe, engaging environment, supporting learning activities, and providing one-to-one or small group support, while meeting students’ academic and emotional needs and following safeguarding procedures. Teaching Assistant job role: Duties can involve drawing activities, work with numbers and reading with children. Other duties can involve helping with lunches, changing nappies and clothes and activities outside – supervising the group, whilst taking direction from the nursery teacher Working as a TA, supporting the classroom teacher across High, Primary and SEN schools. Support will usually be on a 121 basis, wither in isolation or integrated in a classroom environment and to work with the individual child throughout the day. Work could also be undertaken within small groups. Support can be academically or emotionally. All done within a Safeguarding framework. TA’s may encounter challenging behaviour. Younger SEN pupils may also require personal care.
