You’ll focus on renewals, retention, and insurer negotiation within a specialist motor trade insurance environment. As a Motor Trade Insurance Advisor – Road Risk Portfolio & Existing Clients, you’ll step into a stable book of business with the autonomy to manage relationships properly, supported by a knowledgeable commercial insurance team. The emphasis is on quality service, commercial judgement, and building long-term client trust rather than high-volume new business activity. You’ll be joining a brokerage that values expertise in motor trade insurance and gives you the structure and backing to focus on retention, insurer relationships, and consistent performance in a regulated, detail-driven environment. Package & Benefits • Salary £34,000–£39,000 per annum. • Monthly bonus scheme with earnings potential £1,000 - £2,000+ per month based off renewals. About the Company You’ll be joining a specialist insurance brokerage with a strong focus on commercial and motor trade insurance. Key Responsibilities • Manage and retain an existing Motor Trade Insurance Advisor – Road Risk Portfolio & Existing Clients book of business, focusing on renewals and retention. • Handle insurer negotiations, underwriting queries, and mid-term policy adjustments. • Deliver consistent service standards across a portfolio of motor trade insurance clients. • Ensure accurate administration and compliance across all policies and documentation. About You • Proven experience in motor trade, road risk, or commercial insurance. • Strong background in renewals, retention, and existing client management within insurance. • Experience negotiating with insurers and handling underwriting-related queries.
