Scada Engineer

We are supporting a Battery Energy Storage System project and are seeking an experienced SCADA / Automation Engineer to support commissioning and integration activities on a live, safety-critical site. This is a hands-on engineering role, requiring strong practical experience rather than purely design or office-based SCADA work. Key Responsibilities * Support SCADA and automation system integration on a BESS site * Work with PLC systems and industrial communications * Configure and troubleshoot Modbus (TCP/RTU) * Support fibre optic communications setup and testing * Assist with commissioning and site integration activities * Map SCADA systems to physical site equipment * Provide both on-site and remote technical support Essential Experience * Strong SCADA / Automation engineering background * Hands-on experience with PLC systems * Solid understanding of Modbus communications * Experience with fibre optic / industrial networking systems * Commissioning / installation / site-based experience * Comfortable working in live operational environments * Must be hands-on and technically delivery-focused Desirable * BESS / battery storage / renewables experience * Exposure to IEC 61850 environments * HMI / systems integration experience If this role is of interest, please click Apply and attach your updated CV, and I will be in touch to discuss further
