Following continued investment in equipment, people, and global operations, our client is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to take the lead on CNC Milling machinery, shaping maintenance practices and delivering measurable performance improvements across sites.   You’ll lead maintenance strategy, optimise machine uptime, and drive efficiency across multiple aerospace manufacturing sites.   This is a unique opportunity to join a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer, playing a critical role in maintaining and improving high-value, technically advanced machinery within a fast-paced production environment. Maintenance Engineer   Permanent Excellent Salary Monday to Friday Day Shift, Flexi-hours Derby Maintenance Engineer Job Description • Act as the technical lead for all Modig supplied CNC Milling machines • Drive efficiency improvements, focusing on reducing downtime across sites • Develop and implement preventative and operator-led maintenance strategies • Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults, working with internal teams and external suppliers • Identify and manage critical spare parts and inventory requirements • Develop maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices • Mentor and support technicians to improve overall site capability and asset performance • Travel between UK sites and internationally as required to support operations   Maintenance Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications • Experience maintaining Automated machinery ideally CNC Machiner • Electrically biased maintenance background • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics • Experience with PLC fault finding • Willingness to travel across sites and internationally when required   Maintenance Engineer Benefits • International training (initial 6-week training in Sweden – fully funded) • Career development and progression opportunities • Competitive Salary • 25 days plus bank holidays • Company Pension If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply’, email (url removed) or call (phone number removed) Please note that we are unable to respond to every application.
