Performing Arts Teacher - Secondary School Location: Kidsgrove Contract: Full Time | Long Term (ASAP Start) Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in the Kidsgrove area who are seeking a Performing Arts Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative teacher to deliver engaging Performing Arts lessons, which may include Drama, Dance, and/or Music, depending on your specialism and the school's requirements. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students, encourage creativity, and build confidence through performance, while maintaining strong classroom management and high expectations. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Performing Arts lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive sessions Encourage student participation, confidence, and self-expression Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies Assess and monitor student progress where required Contribute to the wider school community, including performances or extracurricular activities where appropriate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Performing Arts at secondary level (Drama, Dance, or Music) Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to start ASAP and commit to a long-term role A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one Pay £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Why work with Premier Education Ltd?
