Scheduler / Planner – Data Centre in Finland £1000 per day – Outside IR35 Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with a leading Consultancy to source a Scheduler / Planner for a Data Centre in Finland. Working on a large scale Data Centre project, this is a 6/7 year contract. The Client‑Side Scheduler/Planner is responsible for independently reviewing, validating, and challenging the contractor’s programme to protect the client’s position under the contract (FIDIC or equivalent). The main objectives are to ensure realistic planning, detect slippage early, support mitigation strategies, and prevent unjustified Extension of Time (EOT) claims. Key Responsibilities: Programme Review & Validation Review contractor baseline and updated programmes for logic accuracy, sequencing integrity, critical path validity, construction feasibility, and resource assumptions. Validate alignment with contractual requirements, scope, and constraints. Challenge unrealistic durations or assumptions and propose evidence‑based alternatives. Progress Monitoring & Forecasting Conduct weekly and monthly programme progress reviews. Compare planned vs. actual progress using look-ahead programmes, S-curves, and Earned Value metrics where appropriate. Identify slippages or risks impacting critical and near‑critical paths.
