Interaction Engineering  Design Engineer (AutoCAD / SolidWorks About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team. This role combines office-based design work with hands-on site involvement, giving you the opportunity to see your designs come to life. You will be responsible for designing structural solutions and supporting projects across the local area. Key Responsibilities Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Design and develop structural components and systems Attend site visits to take measurements, assess conditions, and support installations Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients Modify and improve designs based on site requirements and feedback Ensure all designs meet industry standards and safety regulations Requirements Experience using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Background in structural design or engineering Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable working both in an office and on-site environments Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork abilities Full UK driving licence (preferred) Desirable Skills Experience with structural steel, frameworks, or building systems Knowledge of local construction standards and regulations Previous site experience What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Opportunity to work on varied local projects Mix of practical and design-based work Supportive and growing team environment How to Apply: Please send your CV and a brief cover note outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
