Road Freight Forwarder Birmingham Hybrid Working Salary up to £34,000 DEO We're looking for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join a small, close-knit team in Birmingham. You'll be working alongside two seasoned forwarders, taking full ownership of shipments from start to finish in a role that genuinely values experience, autonomy, and work-life balance. This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys managing the full freight cycle and being trusted to get on with the job. What you'll be doing: Managing end-to-end road freight operations (imports & exports) Booking collections and deliveries, routing and liaising with hauliers Handling customs documentation and clearance processes Tracking shipments and proactively resolving issues Communicating with customers and overseas partners Ensuring compliance and smooth movement of goods throughout What we're looking for: Proven experience in road freight forwarding for a UK based freight company Comfortable managing shipments start to finish, including customs Comfortable working independently with import and export shipments A team player who enjoys working in a small, experienced team What's on offer: Salary up to £34,000 (depending on experience) Hybrid working Performance bonus Flexible start times - start between 8am-9am, finish 4pm-5pm Starting holiday 21 day + 8 banks (Increasing with service) A role where your experience is trusted and valued WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
