Field Engineer

Field Engineer Our client is seeking a hands on Field Engineer to support the deployment, operation and optimisation of cutting edge systems designed to convert waste streams into renewable energy. Key Responsibilities of a Field Engineer * Support operation of pilot scale and commercial systems across multiple customer sites * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding activities * Assist with commissioning of new installations and provide ongoing operational support * Conduct system testing, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of process equipment * Work closely with internal teams, contractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery Candidate Requirements * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally with regular overnight stays * Experience in field engineering, commissioning or maintenance within industrial process environments * Practical knowledge of pumps, gas systems, water treatment or similar process equipment * Electrical competency with relevant certification or demonstrable experience * Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities What’s on Offer * Salary in the region of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience * UK wide field based role with flexible working hours based on a 37.5 hour week * Private medical cover, life assurance and enhanced holiday allowance plus bank holidays * Opportunity to join a fast growing clean technology business backed by major industrial partners * Excellent long term career progression within an innovative and sustainability focused sector To apply or learn more, please contact Altera Recruitment Group today for a confidential discussion
