Gardener

Location: Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park, Belfast We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gardener / Parks Operative to support the maintenance of parks, landscaped areas and open spaces within a busy public sector environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on horticultural experience who enjoys working outdoors as part of a dedicated team. Key Duties: Grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning and general grounds maintenance Turfing, seeding, planting and soil preparation Use of powered hand tools and light plant equipment Maintenance of sports and recreational areas Litter picking and site presentation Supporting health & safety compliance on site Working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture (or equivalent qualification) PA1 & PA6 Pesticide Application Certificates At least 1 year of hands-on gardening / grounds maintenance experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm Location: Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park Pay Rate: £14.35 per hour PAYE Hours: 37 per week If you are reliable, hardworking and passionate about maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces, we would love to hear from you. 👉 Apply now with your CV to be considered
