Site Manager - Cladding Remediation

Site Manager – Façade Remediation Location: South East London Start Date: May 2026 Duration: Approximately 26 weeks Value: £1m An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a façade remediation project on a live residential development in South East London. This role requires a confident individual with a proven track record of managing works within occupied residential properties, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and with minimal disruption to residents. Both freelance and permanent candidates will be considered, with a preference for freelance. The Site Manager will report into a Contracts Manager and will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, subcontractor coordination, health and safety compliance, and resident liaison. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day site operations within occupied residential properties * Ensure health, safety, and welfare of residents, staff, and visitors * Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain programme delivery * Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with specifications * Implement and enforce RAMS and permit systems * Act as the main point of contact for residents, clients, and managing agents * Manage access arrangements, noise control, and site logistics * Maintain site cleanliness, organisation, and security * Carry out site inspections and maintain accurate records * Ensure all personnel hold valid CSCS cards and relevant certifications * Report progress, risks, and issues to the Contracts Manager Key Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager on façade remediation projects * Experience working within live, occupied residential environments * Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to manage sensitive environments while maintaining programme * Experience using Viewpoint and Field View systems If this role is of interest, please reach out directly to Charles Howe of Tradeline Recruitment via mobile or email
