CAD Draughtsman

CAD Draughtsman Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Mechanical CAD Draughtsperson to join a growing manufacturing company based in Alton. The successful candidate will be responsible for remodelling and redrawing existing product range into a new CAD system. Responsibilities as a CAD Draughtsperson: Remodel existing mechanical components in Autodesk Inventor using parametric modelling techniques Interpret and convert existing design data from both Solid Works part files or drawings and Legacy paper drawings Produce detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with company standards Create accurate sub‑assemblies and top‑level assemblies from remodelled components Produce top‑level drawings for customer documentation and workshop use Carry out design verification checks to ensure accuracy, fit, and function of modelled components Requirements: Proficient in 3D CAD modelling using Autodesk Inventor Proficient in Solid Works High level of proficiency in technical drawings Solid understanding of mechanical components and assemblies Strong attention to detail The CAD Draughtsperson role: 6  - 9 month contract Monday – Friday, office based in Alton £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience If you are interested in this CAD Draughtsperson role, please apply with an up to date CV or contact Jemma at Pertemps
