We're hiring an Electrical Fitter to join a specialist manufacturing team based in Hyde. In this role, you'll be working on the electrical fitting and wiring of bespoke conveyor systems - from new builds and customer modifications through to on-site installations - in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same. What’s on offer? * £15.83 - £17.50 per hour * Mon - Fri | 8am – 4:30pm (37 hours) * Early finish on Fridays * 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate) * Healthcare plan * Standard pension scheme * Full PPE provided What will you be doing as an Electrical Fitter? * Routing, fitting, and securing cables and wiring looms within machinery * Cable management across a range of bespoke and customer conveyor systems * Connecting and testing motors, sensors, and electrical components * Interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to carry out installations * Supporting the electrical setup of both rental and customer conveyor systems * Conducting electrical testing and fault-finding * Completing wiring on pre-built control panels * Ensuring all work meets electrical safety standards and quality procedures What do you need? * Time-served with relevant electrical qualifications - including 18th Edition (BS 7671) * Proven experience in electrical fitting, panel wiring, or a similar hands-on electrical role * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams * Experience with wiring looms and cable management * Understanding of industrial machinery or conveyor systems (advantageous) Interested?
