Groundworks Project Manager – Manchester – Immediate Start We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of civil engineering and groundworks projects across Manchester. The Role: You will take responsibility for managing groundworks packages from start to finish, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role suits someone confident working across multiple sites, coordinating teams, and driving programmes forward. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all aspects of groundworks including drainage, foundations, roads, and infrastructure * Manage site teams, plant, and subcontract labour * Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations * Plan works, manage programmes, and track progress against deadlines * Liaise with main contractors, engineers, and site stakeholders * Manage materials, logistics, and day-to-day site operations * Maintain quality control and resolve on-site challenges proactively Requirements: * Proven experience managing groundworks projects/packages * Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of groundworks * Ability to run multiple sites and manage changing priorities * Excellent communication and organisational skills * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred) * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: * Competitive day rate / package (DOE) * Immediate start available * Ongoing work with a strong pipeline of projects * Opportunity to take full ownership of schemes If you are an experienced Groundworks Project Manager ready to hit the ground running, apply now for an immediate start in Manchester
