Maintenance Engineer

We're working with a fast-growing engineering business based in Witham, providing expert machinery and production maintenance across Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and London. They're now looking for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their skilled and close-knit team. This role is ideal for a mechanically biased engineer with some electrical know-how, especially if you've worked in FMCG environments and enjoy being out on the road. What's on Offer: Up to £21 per hour (DOE) Overtime at 1.5x your hourly rate Travel paid from Witham to and from site Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Holiday buy-back & loyalty schemes Permanent role with a family-run, supportive company The Role: Site-based repairs and maintenance across the East and South East Mechanical and light electrical fault-finding Conveyor system inspections, repairs, and rebuilds Breakdown response and scheduled maintenance work What We're Looking For: Strong mechanical background (engineering or automotive - e.g., engine rebuilds) Some electrical maintenance experience Previous work in FMCG environments is a big plus Flexible and self-motivated with a full UK driving licence This is a temporary to permanent position following a successful 3-month probation.
