Job Title: Skilled Fitters - Aerospace (Rib Cell) Contract: PAYE / Umbrella Shift: Early shift Shift: Earlies | Hours: 06:00-14:15 (Mon-Thu) | 06:00-12:00 (Fri) Rate: £30.56 Umbrella / £22.23 PAYE + holiday Due to the nature of the role, BPSS clearance is required; if clearance cannot be obtained, employment may not be possible or may be withdrawn on national security grounds. The Opportunity We're recruiting two Skilled Fitters to support the Rib Cell team within a leading aerospace organisation. This is a contract role working the Early shift, assembling and fitting precision aerospace structures to tight quality and compliance standards. Ideally, applicants will hold a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Assembly and have prior experience in aviation or aerospace assembly. Key Responsibilities Assemble and fit rib cell aerospace components to specification Read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively Carry out quality checks and resolve fitting issues Maintain production flow through effective teamwork Keep work areas clean, organised and audit‑ready Work in full compliance with H&S and regulatory standards What You'll Need Proven aerospace fitting experience Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills Competence using hand tools and relevant machinery Understanding of quality control processes Good communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety and compliance Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience What's My Next Step?
