Project Engineer

Project Manager Location: Bristol & Cardiff Salary: £75,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus Kingston Barnes are proudly recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the Energy recovery / Process industry for an experienced Project Engineer. This is a key position, supporting and delivering engineering changes to increase the MCR across operational sites. Key Responsibilities * Support and deliver engineering changes to increase Maximum Continuous Rating (MCR) across Energy Recovery Facilities * Work with OEMs, contractors, site teams, and central engineering to develop technical solutions * Integrate engineering projects into planned outages * Manage contractor performance during project delivery * Ensure all engineering changes meet safety, quality, and compliance standards * Carry out site visits as part of project support and delivery * Participate in HAZOP reviews * Produce Management of Change documentation About You * Strong engineering and maintenance knowledge within process or power industries * Good understanding of pressure parts legislation and project management practices * Excellent communication, organisational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills * Proven experience managing contractors and delivering complex engineering projects * HNC (or equivalent qualification) * Project Management qualification * IOSH (or equivalent health and safety qualification) * Full, clean driving licence Desirable: * Knowledge of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) * Awareness of ISO 55001 standards * Managerial qualification (ILM or equivalent) Package & Benefits * £75,00 * Car allowance * Annual bonus scheme up to 10% * Private pension plan * Sick pay scheme * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week * Hybrid role with travel to sites If you are interested, please call Josh Hoyle on (phone number removed) or apply online * Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position
