Senior Accountant

Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a boutique accountancy practice, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team based in the Central London area.    JOB DETAILS WORK TYPE: Permanent  WORK PATTERN: Full Time LOCATION: Central London JOB DESCRIPTION The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: Oversee and complete accounting assignments from start to finish. Examine VAT returns, management accounts, and statutory accounts. Use and offer guidance on cloud accounting programs (such as Xero and QuickBooks). Oversee, evaluate, and assist junior team members, including providing training. Prepare and review working papers and client-ready outputs Identify improvements to clients' systems, processes, and controls Monitor budgets and deadlines, escalating issues where required THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: ACCA/ACA Qualified 2+ years experience in an accountancy practice   Please be advised that only candidates that have the specific skills and experiences required for this role will be shortlisted and submitted to our client for review.
