The venue is a key player in Edinburgh’s hospitality scene, with a well-established breakfast, lunch, and dinner trade. Key Responsibilities * Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. * Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and excellence in every dish. * Manage budgets, stock, and labour to drive profitability. * Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance. What We’re Looking For * Proven leadership experience in a Head Chef or senior Sous Chef role. * Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of cost control, labour planning, and inventory management. * Proficiency in kitchen management systems, including rota planning, ordering, and reporting software. * A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure, with a passion for delivering exceptional food. Preferred Qualifications * Broad experience across all kitchen sections. * A creative flair and a drive to innovate. * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
