Location: Drayton, Abingdon, Oxfordshire (OX14) Pay: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (CIS) + negotiable after weld test Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: May 2026 or sooner Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours/week) Fabricator Welder Job Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Fabricator Welder to join a well-established and busy engineering company based in Abingdon (OX14). This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a strong pipeline of work, offering varied projects (small batch and one-off fabrications – not repetitive production work). What You’ll Be Doing * MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel structures * Working from engineering drawings * Fabricating small batch and bespoke components * General workshop and assembly work * Maintaining high quality and safety standards What We’re Looking For * 3+ years’ experience as a Fabricator Welder * Strong MIG welding experience (essential) * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Good work ethic, reliable and punctual * Able to work independently and as part of a team Desirable (Not Essential) * TIG welding (stainless steel/aluminium) * Experience with pressing, rolling, shearing * Forklift licence * Coded welding certification What You’ll Get * Competitive hourly rate with pay review after weld test * Full-time, permanent position * Consistent Monday–Friday hours (no shifts) * Ongoing, varied work (no repetitive production line) * Company pension * Sick pay * Free on-site parking Location & Requirements * Based in Drayton, Abingdon (OX14) * Must be able to commute reliably or relocate * Right to work in the UK required Apply Today This is a high-demand role with immediate interviews available.
