Non‑Working Supervisor – Structures | Bridges | Highways | Precast Kilnbridge is hiring Non Working Supervisor to join our team working on great project near Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering on a major UK project. Location: Manchester Employment Type: Full-time Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure We are currently seeking an experienced Non‑Working Supervisor with a strong background in structural civil engineering to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the Manchester region. This is a supervisory role only – no tools on – focused on leadership, coordination, safety and quality. Key Responsibilities As a Non‑Working Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site activities, including: * Supervising bridge construction, precast culverts, and in-situ RC works * Overseeing precast concrete installation (highly beneficial experience) * Coordinating trades and subcontractors including: * Formwork carpenters * Steel fixers * Concrete finishers * Lifting teams * Managing plant, materials, and sequencing of works * Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification * Maintaining high standards of H&S, quality, and productivity * Liaising with Site Management and Engineering teams Candidate Requirements To be considered, you should have: * Proven experience as a Non‑Working Supervisor / General Foreman on major civils or infrastructure projects * Strong structures background – bridges, culverts, RC works * Good understanding of highways construction and temporary works * Experience supervising precast concrete installation (strong advantage) * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills * A proactive approach to safety and quality delivery What’s on Offer * Opportunity to work on high‑profile UK infrastructure projects * Long‑term, stable workload * Supportive team environment with clear progression * Competitive salary and package * A key role in shaping and delivering critical civil engineering works
