Day Shift Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Day Shift Supervisor to oversee daily site operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high standards across all activities. Key Responsibilities * Provide strong leadership and set high performance expectations for site staff * Monitor, control, and optimise site activities, including plant operations, workflow, and inbound/outbound loads * Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and management systems * Promote and maintain best practices across all site operations * Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures * Continuously monitor standards relating to housekeeping, safety, welfare, environmental impact, and production quality * Maintain site security at all times * Oversee and maintain documentation in line with ISO standards * Communicate professionally and effectively with Directors, Site Manager, and all site personnel Person Specification * Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing plant environment * Proven experience in a supervisory or similar leadership role * Strong organisational and leadership skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills * Experience operating mobile plant equipment (FLT, loading shovel, grab) * High standard of written and verbal English * Computer literate, including email proficiency Location: Doncaster Salary: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Shifts: 4 on / 4 off, Day Shift (6:00am – 6:00pm) Holiday: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status
