Warehouse Assistant

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturer for a Warehouse Assistant to join their growing team in Poole. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations. This includes handling goods in, supporting stock control, assembling accessories, and preparing orders for dispatch in a fast-paced and quality-driven environment. Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Assistant:  Receiving and checking incoming goods against purchase orders Reporting damaged stock, faults, or discrepancies Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch Supporting stock control and maintaining organised stock areas Assisting with production packing and goods-out activities Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with company procedures Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all timesExperienced needed for the Warehouse Assistant Role:  Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience within goods in/out operations Stock control or productivity-based environments SAP or similar systems experience Van driving experienceEssential: Clean driving licence Valid forklift licenceWhat the Warehouse Assistant will recieve:  Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience) Ongoing agency assignment with potential for long-term opportunities Free on-site parking Supportive and professional working environmentThis role is a permament positon and is paying up to £29k per annum on a day shift Monday to Friday!  If you’re a reliable and motivated warehouse professional looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
