Financial Reporting Accountant Mandarin Speaking

My client, a well-established international organisation within the energy sector, is currently looking to hire an Accounting & Financial Reporting professional to join their London-based team. This is a hands-on role covering full-cycle accounting, financial reporting and compliance. You will work closely with both local teams and overseas headquarters to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with group standards. TITLE: Financial Reporting Accountant Salary : (phone number removed) Work style: Office based Language required: Fluent Mandarin Location: London Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and voucher verification Performing GL reconciliation, AR/AP management and bank reconciliations Supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes Preparing financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in line with local and group standards Handling fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and asset register maintenance Ensuring compliance with local regulations and accounting standards (IFRS / CAS) Supporting internal and external audits, including addressing audit findings Utilising and improving ERP systems and reporting automation processes Collaborating with internal stakeholders across finance and business teams Requirement Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting / financial reporting / audit Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or Chinese GAAP (CAS) Experience with full set of accounts and month-end close Familiar with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Fluent in both English and Mandarin
