Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber – FM Service Provider - Chesterford  - £45,000 An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Chesterford, Essex. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Plumber to be based in a commercial estate of buildings near Chesterford, Essex. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team. Hours of work Monday - Friday , 8am - 5pm £45,000 25 Days Holiday Extra 1 Day off for Birthday Overtime available Parking available on site Requirements City & Guilds / NVQ NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential) A proven track record in commercial building maintenance An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units Multi-skilled Good communication skills Excellent customer skillsMechanical duties: Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls) Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls) Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing Water pressurization units Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling Steam Plant Condensers, Condenser Returns Cooling towers Softeners Humidifiers Hydraulics Pneumatics Boilers – re-sets Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faultsPlease reply with a recent copy of your CV to Dan Barber at CBW staffing solutions
