Welder (Sub Arc) Location: Livingston Salary: £31,991 + £7,997 shift allowance (Total £39,989) Hours: 37 per week (shift rotation) We are recruiting for an experienced Welder to join a leading manufacturing environment. You’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for welding, fabrication, and repair work across plant equipment and tooling. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out welding and fabrication repairs on presses, furnaces, machine tools, and dies * Operate and set up Sub Arc welding equipment * Work with a range of materials including stainless steel, titanium, and high carbon steels * Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Support plant maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement initiatives * Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping Requirements: * Time-served Welder with Sub Arc welding experience * Strong fabrication skills and experience in industrial environments * Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions * Knowledge of safe working practices * Flexible approach and ability to work shifts Desirable: * Experience in heavy manufacturing or forging environments * Burning/lancing experience This is a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering team with strong earning potential and career development.
