Cover Supervisor

Secondary Cover Supervisor Preston Full time £100- £120 ( Salary is depending on experience and/or qualification) ASAP The School and Role Justteachers is seeking a Secondary Cover Supervisor, who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary School in the Preston area , on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in April 2026, we are shortlisting for this role now. Key Responsibilities * Supervising classes during teacher absence for KS3 and KS4 * Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans without introducing new content * Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies * Supporting students to stay on task and engaged in learning * Recording attendance and reporting any concerns to relevant staff * Adapting to cover a range of subjects and year groups as required Requirements: * Previous experience working in a UK secondary school * Strong classroom management skills * Ability to deliver pre-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4 * Good communication and organisational skills In return, Justteachers offers: * Competitive pay rates * No timesheets are required, allowing you to focus on teaching * Weekly pay on Fridays * Free safeguarding training to ensure the well-being of students * A dedicated specialist consultant to support you and your needs * Ongoing support and development with Justteachers
