Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor – Leyland Justteachers Teaching Agency is seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work within one of our partner Secondary Schools in the Leyland area. This role is to start ASAP and will be on a long‑term, full‑time basis. About the school: * A rapidly improving secondary school with a strong focus on raising standards * Known for its supportive, inclusive culture and high expectations for behaviour * Leadership is committed to continuous improvement and providing a stable, positive learning environment * Staff work collaboratively to ensure students feel valued and achieve their best Key responsibilities: * Supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task * Delivering pre‑prepared work to groups of students across a range of subjects * Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies * Supporting students with their learning and promoting a positive classroom environment You will have: * Two education/school‑based references * Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills * Confidence working with young people in a classroom setting * The ability to motivate and engage students * Previous school experience is desirable but not essential In return, Justteachers offers: * Competitive pay rates * No timesheets required * Weekly pay every Thursday * Free safeguarding training to ensure the well‑being of students * A dedicated specialist consultant to support you * Ongoing professional development opportunities Pay: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)
