Quantity Surveyor – Hotel Refurbishment Project (West London) An established main contractor is currently delivering a £175m hotel refurbishment project in West London and is looking to appoint a mid-level Quantity Surveyor to strengthen the existing commercial team. The project involves the refurbishment of an existing hotel to a semi–high-end standard, with a strong focus on fit-out works. The Quantity Surveyor’s Role The Quantity Surveyor will join a close-knit team of three commercial professionals, providing additional resource to help manage workload and ongoing procurement activity. Working alongside the Commercial Manager and site team, your responsibilities will include: * Commercial management of fit-out packages * Ongoing procurement and subcontractor management * Cost reporting and budget control * Valuations, variations, and change management * Final account support * Utilising established systems and “copy-and-paste” style processes where appropriate to maintain consistency This role is well suited to a QS who is comfortable working on refurbishment projects with repeatable work packages and structured commercial procedures. The Quantity Surveyor * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar * 1–2 years’ experience operating at Quantity Surveyor level * Main contractor background preferred * Experience with refurbishment or fit-out projects advantageous * Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness * Comfortable working within a small team environment * Able to travel to West London In Return? * Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience) * £4,000 travel allowance * Annual leave entitlement * Pension scheme * Exposure to a major hotel refurbishment project * Stable team environment with ongoing workload If you are a Quantity Surveyor with main contractor experience and are seeking a stable role on a long-term refurbishment project, please apply with your CV to discuss further.
