Job Title: P6 Planner / Project Controls Engineer Location: North West (4 days per week on site) Clearance: SC Clearable (SC Cleared preferred) Contract: 6 months Nationality Requirement: UK Nationals only Overview A leading engineering organisation within the defence and nuclear domain is seeking an experienced P6 Planner / Project Controls Engineer to support a major new‑build submarine programme. This role is ideal for someone with strong Primavera P6 expertise and a background in large, complex engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 Work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams Monitor progress, produce performance reporting, and highlight risks & opportunities Ensure schedule alignment across multiple work packages Support project controls outputs including EV, forecasting, and analysis Essential Requirements Strong demonstrable experience with Primavera P6 Project Controls knowledge across large engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects SC Cleared or eligible for SC (UK nationals only) Experience in nuclear, defence, shipbuilding, or high‑security engineering is highly desirable Candidates from major construction, new build, mechanical, EC&I, or pipework‑heavy environments will also be consideredPlease click to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
