Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer – MFD / Print (Walking role) Location: Central London (Hybrid) Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About Us We are a growing and customer-focused provider of managed print and document solutions, delivering industry-leading MFD (Multi-Functional Device) technology to businesses across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of MFDs and print equipment across your assigned region. You will play a key role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service. Key Responsibilities * Install, service, and maintain MFDs, printers, and associated software * Diagnose and repair faults on-site and remotely * Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing * Manage service calls efficiently within agreed SLAs * Provide technical support and training to customers where required * Maintain accurate service records and documentation * Build strong relationships with clients and represent the company professionally Requirements * Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer within the MFD / print industry * Strong knowledge of Ricoh products is essential and any Papercut exposure would advantageous * Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Strong IT/networking knowledge (TCP/IP, scanning, print drivers) * Full UK driving licence * Strong communication and customer service skills Desirable Skills * Manufacturer accreditations or certifications * Experience with print management software (e.g. PaperCut, Equitrac) * Basic knowledge of Windows server environments What We Offer * Competitive salary with performance-based bonus * Zone 1-6 travel card * Company laptop, mobile phone and tools supplied * Ongoing training and manufacturer certifications * Career progression opportunities within a growing business with a family feel * Pension scheme with progressive holiday allowance Apply Now If you are a motivated engineer looking to join a forward-thinking company in the print, IT, Telecoms and document solutions industry, we’d love to hear from you.
